FS-101 Light Source

The FS-101 is a Optical Fiber Light Source for installation and testing optical fiber systems. The FS-101 supports 1310 and 1550nm wavelengths.

The TriTone Generator is a compact, multitone, multimode tone generator used for tone tracing on copper pairs. The TriTone can be used for identifying telephone pairs, cables, and ethernet cables. The TriTone Generator also offers three amplitude levels for use in applications that require higher tone levels such as wet cable and cable identification.

The audible short verfication feature is used to confirm the correct pair has been located.

The ToneAmp is a compact tone amplifier used to identify cable

airs (tagging) and locate accessible and inaccessible cable impairments such as:

• Split pairs
• Crossed pairs
• Shorted pairs
• Pair grounds
• Sheath grounds

The ToneAmp has narrow filters for 577Hz pair identification and 987Hz fault location. A Wide Band option allows the ToneAmp to work with other frequencies from 60Hz to 3kHz.

The CommBat is a unique talk battery power supply. The CommBat automatically adjusts the talk battery voltage to provide 10mA of current. The supply voltage can be up to 30VDC on longer loops to ensure adequate talk power.

The TriTone tone generator and CommBat can be purchased separately or as a set. The TriTone carry bag includes space for the CommBat as well as cords.

The TriTone Tone Generator, CommBat and CommBat+ talk pair battery use standard AA batteries for convenience.

The CommBat+ talk battery provide the 10mA, constant current features of the CommBat.

The CommBat+has the additional benefits of an integtrated line check. This enables the user determine if the line has a working circuit or a defect that would disqualify it as a talk pair.

Another additonal feature of the CommBat+ is the Call feature. The CommBat+ has an audible alert that sounds each time the talk circuit is completed
