CommBat Talk Battery

The CommBat talk battery is a unique power source for talk battery circuits. The CommBat provides a constant current of 10mA for the talk line. The helps ensure the talk circuit is loud and clear, even on longer loops.

As the line becomes longer, CommBat increases the battery voltage up to 30VDC, if necessary, to maintain talk current on the line.

The CommBat is powered by four AA batteries for easy replacement and small size.

CommBat+ Talk Battery

The CommBat+ talk battery provide the 10mA, constant current features of the CommBat.

The CommBat+ has the additional benefits of an integtrated line check. This enables the user determine if the line has a working circuit or a defect that would disqualify it as a talk pair.

Another additonal feature of the CommBat+ is the Call feature. The CommBat+ has an audible alert that sounds each time the talk circuit is completed.
