AALogic ViewLE User's Guide - ADM2400 Driver Installation

The USB ADM2400 driver must be installed to allow the AALogic View program to communicate with the ADM2400. Windows automatically detects the ADM2400 when it is connected to the PC using the USB cord and the ADM2400 is placed in the Remote mode.


To begin the installation of the driver, connect the USB cable from the USB connector on the ADM2400 and to any available port on the PC or a USB hub connected to the PC. Windows will detect the new device and start the "Found New Hardware Wizard.".
1. Windows starts the "Found New Hardware Wizard". Select the "No" option and click the "Next" button.
2. You will be installing the driver from the CD. Ensure the CD is installed in a drive. Click the radio button for "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)" and click the "Next" button.
3. Choose the "Don't Search..." option and click the "Next" button.
4. Click the "Have Disk..." button.
5. Use the "Browse" button to navigate to the CD drive and then to the \Drivers folder on the CD. Click the OK button.
6. Select the ADM2400.inf file and click the "Open" button.
7. Click the "OK" button.
8. Select the ADM2400 in the "Model" window and click the "Next" button.
9. Click the "Continue Anyway" button.
10. The driver is installed, click the "Finished" button. You may also see a message indicating that the new equipment is installed and ready to use in tray area, the lower right corner of the PC screen.
